Bleed Internal
Stuff like this: http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/cas/1627619036.html Or this: http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/cas/1629085314.html Or this: http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/cas/1626215072.html It's unreal and sickening. I'm so worried that I'll never meet a decent, honest, trustworthy woman. It feels like there's none left. Mind you, I was cheated on in my last relationship. One thing I will say is, a lot of these women seem to be suffering from loneliness or feel neglected by their husbands, sexually and emotionally. That makes me want to make sure I never stop giving my future wife all the love and attention she needs. I know that I cheated in my last relationship because my ex didn't always give me the kind of attention I was looking for, even when I brought it up as a concern. And it's no excuse, just an example of how I know being neglected can lead to cheating. I know how terrible it feels when it doesn't seem like your partner is attracted and wants you. Still, it's a shame that these women act so selfishly instead of communicating with their husbands. I've learned a lot about fidelity in my last relationship and know I never want to hurt or be hurt like that ever again. I'm just scared that I won't find a woman who feels the same way. Author Bleed Internal
This might be a little harsh, but I just sent all three of those women this email: "looking to cheat on your husband? you ****ing whore! don't do that to him. how about you honor you vows and communicate with him about whatever problems are driving you to cheat? you're disgusting." I think it's clear how much getting cheated on affected me when I'm sending strangers emails at 5:00 am. oh well. hopefully i can save someone in the universe some heartbreak. RedDevil66
There are as many married men on these sites looking to cheat as well. Cheating seems to have become someone "normal" now. Goes to show how low class society has become. And I agree, it's scary to think of being in any relationship since you never really know your spouse. And there are people who would say 'Oh, my spouse would never cheat" and come to figure out, they were cheated on.
JamesM
And from what I have read, there are as many fakes (or even more) than there are real people. Spammers know that using a woman in an ad will get more responses than will using a man. If you start getting a bunch of spam, then you know where it came from. Relax...and don't look for someone on CL. I do say that many of the ads are rather humorous...especially the guys with their pictures of their "organs."
Lizzie60
Maybe you should check all the married men who are on those dating sites.. and send them the same message... I think you'll have to hire a few people to help you with the messages... there are way more cheating men than cheating women.. still..
make me believe
Why are you even looking at that stuff? And I agree with the other posters, check out all the MEN looking to do that sh*t too! Why aren't you off sending them rude emails? Plus, you cheated in your last relationship so I don't think you really have any right to be getting all high and mighty about this. Sounds like you're paranoid of someone doing exactly what you did. And from what I have read, there are as many fakes (or even more) than there are real people. Yeah, I find it kind of hard to believe that all of these "sexy, attractive" women would have to resort to CL to get laid.

Well, what I've seen is it's usually couples, where they are looking for another man for the wife, either just the two of them or for a 3some. Sadly, they are usually looking for someone physically superior to the husband-usually a bigger package and why these guys don't think it's a reflection on them, I have no idea. But, if it works for them, have at it.
Author Bleed Internal
for everyone's information: one was fake, one hasn't responded (yet), and one THANKED ME. so hopefully i've helped some poor guy's marriage out there.
Dexter Morgan
nope, never read them, don't care. I don't troll for cheating women. however, I have considered grabbing the addresses of all the people I know are cheating on their spouses in my small town, and writing the betrayed spouse a letter letting them know their spouses are cheating scumbags and telling them who they are cheating with. I think I might start that this weekend.
Woggle
Yet women wonder why I don't trust them. I know I will just get some comments about how it is just evening the score or some crap like that but I will still protect myself. God I wish I was gay or even asexual.

If it were only a few bad apples this would not be an issue but this is pretty much a trend amongst women.

shadowplay
I believe you but there are plenty of women on this board that would. There are also many, many women who don't cheat. Why do you choose to solely focus on the negative? Surround yourself with good people and ignore the rest.

D-Lish
Seriously, it's like going to a bar and being surprised people are drinking. Craigslist is a hotbed for people seeking affairs, fetishes and hook ups. It's hardly an accurate reflection of what all women are like.

The accusation of cheating will be correct more often than not.

Dexter Morgan
I'm starting to think monogamy will be utterly dead in a couple generations. Read Women's Infidelity by Michelle Langley, it outlines how and why women are all going through this pre-mid-life crisis and seemingly losing their minds. Funny enough it's EXACTLY what my ex did down to the exact wording of what she said. I think you may, sadly, be right. Which is why I won't be committing to anyone anytime soon....if ever again. meerkat stew
there are way more cheating men than cheating women.. still.. Not true, not by a long shot, at least where I have lived and among whom I have known. IME and IMO, women in the 21-45 age group cheat more than men, significantly more. Men still outcheat women if you factor in 50+, but younger women far outcheat younger men.
Dexter Morgan
there are way more cheating men than cheating women if we assume that is true, then that means there are more women willing to sleep with other women's men, more women are OW as opposed to men being the OM. to me that kind of evens it out if you are trying to make the argument that more men are pigs than women. I think it means that men simply advertise for their infidelity more than women do. I peruse CL a lot (both sexes) and hands-down, men -- both single and married -- advertise for sex WAY more than women do...
DeepThinker01
Hello Bleed Internal I'd like to talk more with you about this. My relationship went to hell because of Craigslist. It was the site that my "lover" was sending e-mails and posting ads to women. Including married ones. After I had caught him trying to cheat, he opened up and showed me the e-mails. They are all burned in my mind. I remember one specifically said, "So you're married? I have always dreamed of being with a married woman. I am in a relationship as well, so discretion is a must". There were hundreds of E-mails to women, and each one was different. From sexually explicit to love letters to **** like that. Has this happened to you with a lover? At the time I read the e-mails, I didn't even KNOW Craigslist was a site where men and women advertised themselves and were looking for sex. My dumb ass thought it was just a site where you could buy some cheap merchandise, like Ebay. Craigslist is a terrible website. It brought so much heartache and anger. Has anyone else had a problem like this? As horrible as I feel saying it, i'd be lying if I didn't admit that it made me feel bitter towards men. I know deep down that I can't blame all men for the acts of one raging and sick pervert.. but I just can't help it. Your post stuck out to me mainly because you are a man who posted it. I'd like to hear from you, and added you to my contacts in case you are interested. Anyone else who has had an issue like that, feel free to add me. I'd like to know how people deal with something like this .. and it's nice to know i am not alone.
Krytie TV
Oh please. Websites have nothing to do with it. Unscrupulous people and your, unfortunately, poor choices in partners are the cause of the problems. I promise you over 50% of these "cheating" ads you see are lonely, creepy people whose only form of self-expression or interaction is a keyboard in a cold, cark room. Take responsibility for your life and stop blaming websites.
