mimidarlin
For anyone who was concerned about my health. The doctor told me that I probably had a cyst on my ovary rupture a couple weeks ago and that's why it hurt so much. I still have a cyst but it's very small. She thinks the "trauma" aggravated my endometriosis which is why I am still in pain. I swear that the next time a male doctor tells me to just take all my reproductive parts out I am going to scream at the top of my voice. How the hell would you like to be castrated? Yes it the same bloody thing. ovaries and testicles. The make me want to take one of those metal trays and whap them upside the head!!
unsureLP
I've had those before (cysts and silly male doctors both) and it's ridiculously painful (mostly the cysts). So I commiserate with you. Ouch. I hope the pain and the cysts go away soon. The insensitive male doctors unfortunately are everywhere. (I've also had some insensitive female doctors, btw. Don't want to be too sexist here)
Author mimidarlin
I don't go to male ob/gyn doctors. Just a preference. I've had insensitive treatment from male and female doctors in the emergency room though. Rarely do the females say just rip it all out. It's not up to the emergency room doc to recommend treatment that will be part of my follow up visit.
