AgeOfUninnocence
Just had an interesting conversation with my mom about my ex, and a thought occurred. It's been a week since his new girlfriend that he started dating within 10 days of dumping me (or left me for) dumped him. My mom says that if he really cared and realized his mistake of dumping me, he would have come crawling back to me begging to come back. However, I disagree. I think that contacting me so soon after being dumped by this other girl would not have represented realizing a mistake, but rather a desperation to fill a void of loneliness. I have not talked to my ex in weeks, and I'm actually glad that he has not tried to contact me after being dumped because I feel it would have only been desperation, but even so, I kinda do wish he would contact me just so I could ignore it or something. So what do you guys think? Is a guy more likely to realize his mistake and come begging a week after being dumped? Or does it take time to process the relationships for a while and then decide? spriggig
I kinda do wish he would contact me just so I could ignore it or something. LOL, now THIS I get! So what do you guys think? Is a guy more likely to realize his mistake and come begging a week after being dumped? Or does it take time to process the relationships for a while and then decide? A week is too short, he's still hurting from the break-up, in spite of it being a rebound. He isn't thinking about you very much yet. But he will.
