"Nice" girls, like Sandra Bullock....

Agreed. I am a stepmother and my relationship with my stepdaughter is very important to both of us. Fortunately for me were anything to happen to my marriage with her father she would still necessarily be in my life as we are tied forever through her baby brother, my son. Sandra has no such tie to ensure she does not lose all contact with Jesse's kids forever. She has spoken openly about how much those children mean to her, she was willing to take on full custody of the youngest; I cannot imagine how painful this must be for her, knowing that the decision to divorce the cheating, lying husband who exposed her to public humiliation galore could also result in the complete loss from her life of children whom she has cared for deeply. Rock, hard place.

Wow, you must be pretty naive. Ever consider that maybe, just maybe she said all those things for the sake of publicity? Like, you know, every other person in Hollywood does? Unless you know Bullock personally, you can't make all these assumptions about her being this great person you imagine her to be. Almost everyone in Hollywood is a narcissistic, selfish, attention seeking, self-promoting *******. That's pretty much the formula for success in that place and if you don't fit that mold, you will never become A-list.

. Or she can take off for a year and make a movie (neglect her husband) to further her career, and another woman might entertain her husband.. Cannot have everything..

Do you feel the same about men who travel for work? Men in the military, for example?

You know.. after all those stories about famous male celebs and politicians, etc...(ex. Tiger, Clinton, etc..) that got caught and dragged in the mud for their infidelity ... you'd think that they'd be more careful... or not cheat at all.. since they have so much to lose... Hell no.. they don't...

I've proposed my theory about highly successful people and cheating being correlated with risk-taking personalities

Is this a serious question?

Those men signed up to defend this country and are FORCED to go.. Many women also want to marry these men for the benefits they become a part of..Those men are leaving to go through a living hell in many cases.. Not sit around on movie sets and be pampered like babies.

The couple in question have a combined net worth of what? 80 million? Nobody is forcing Sandra to leave for a year..

Why the animosity towards me? It's not my fault jesse cheated, lol..

Nah it's not after you as I don't know you, it is about the silly things you say. Clearly you make posts for the shock value, because you say totally nutty stuff.

You can't expect to be taken seriously. :D

Who forced them to sign up?

And who forced them to get married?

What do you mean a year ?.. you have no idea what you are syaing..

She spent 90 days in Atlanta making that movie.. not a freaking year..

Jesse James himself spent that same amount of time away from her making the Celebrity Apprentice..

No one is forced to sign up (at this time, in this country).

And Jesse didn't marry Sandra for benefits related to her career?

But forget the military if it is too loaded. I only mentioned it because it involves similar time frames.

What about an actor that films on location? Does his wife have justification to cheat? If not, why not?

How about if she has her tubes tied, tests her partner, and no one will ever find out?

Such a predictable response. It's always the women who are at fault.

He knew he was marrying an actress why would he marry an actress if he wants a stay at home wife? Can you answer that please?

I don't follow celebs much....is Sandra generally a publicity whore or does she live her private life quietly and away from gossip and paps? In the past, I've generally only seen her when she's promoting a film or attending awards stuff, but that was years ago before she got real popular, during the time she made 'Speed', 'The Net' and 'While you were sleeping' (mid 90's).

IMO, both she and Jesse, being seasoned in that 'world', knew what they were getting into when they married, in all aspects. Neither is an 'innocent'. They knew the risks and responsibilities. They made the choice. He evidently made some subsequent unhealthy choices which came to public light. That's too bad, but it will work out, just as the pre-nup specified it would ;)

I think this sums it up:

Sandra Bullock also told reporters that Jesse James doesn’t like to watch her making love on screen. She told Jesse James has an aversion towards it. She concluded

it saying no spouse like watching their partner in that way.

Sandra Bullock says, “"He's not gonna like it - he doesn't like it - but I wouldn't want it any other way.” She added, “"If he was like, 'I don't care', I'd be like, 'I'm sorry, what?'

She spoke about her pre married life and felt she had a great life before the marriage. Sandra Bullock Married Jesse James back in 2005.

He couldn't handle what she did for a living, that's the bottom line.

Boohoo Jesse James, you wanted to be married to a big screen star but couldn't get over the fact that your wife had to kiss other men on screen.

Which I find super odd since he was also married to a porn star who did much more than kiss guys on screen, and he messed around with strippers. I guess she should have been going all the way not faking it for the camera.

Perhaps he got off on watching the previous wife in porn films. There's the on screen chemistry element in a rom com that was perhaps the source of the jealousy. It must be something that a lot of actors' spouses have trouble dealing with.

I think sometimes the only way these marriages work (ie the ones where the wife is extremely successful) involve the husband taking a managerial/mentor role...so that he can feel in control. Jesse James was no doubt very much in awe of her status in Hollywood. I would imagine that in LA she is treated like royalty where-ever she goes. He probably felt like her bodyguard rather than her husband a lot of the time....despite being a tv personality himself.

I bet she worked really hard to preserve his ego, but ultimately nothing was going to change the fact that she was an A list star and he wasn't. If she'd given it all up to devote herself to him, she'd have probably lost her allure...no longer having that current star status.

I think a woman in her position probably just has to roll with it. Enjoy these relationships or marriages for as long as they last; immerse herself in the moment - but be able to shut down emotionally very quickly when it's time to press the eject button. As an actress, she's probably far better equipped to do that (dive in and out of the emotion at will) than most people... save those who are temperamentally geared to doing it.

Yeah all that or pussy was right in front of him.. lol

Silly hypothesis anyway.. Then why did Tiger cheat? He was also in awe of his wifes past career as a nanny and could not handle it?

Quite honestly the stuff that Cali is saying is more misandrist than anything from a woman in this thread. I hope you realize that not all men feel this way.

You don't think they have private planes and spend every weekend together? You really think these people are working 80 hour weeks? Long days maybe, but in wonderful conditions with lacky's at their beckon call.....

JJ couldn't keep it in his pants, plain & simple.

Tiger's wife comes from Sweden. Quite a different culture, very different attitudes. Her family are fairly prominent. She used to work as a model, and some golfer's wife befriended her and asked her to be their nanny. This wife introduced her into her social circle, suggesting she regarded her as a friend rather than an employee.

A lot of men in the golfing circle were after her, and Tiger Woods had to fairly chase after her to get her. By all accounts she isn't particularly interested in money, doesn't bother driving a flash car..and had reservations right from the start about marrying a celeb. In other words, she's got class. And yes, I don't believe it's a stretch to think Tiger Woods might find that hard to handle.

calizaggy, unless a woman is a slave to her husband, she's always at fault with you. What is it that causes someone to be so trapped in their thinking? Could it be a bad experience with an older woman in your past, that you feel it necessary to bash someone like Sandra Bullock?

Tiger's wife is the nice girl to start a family and front an ideal marriage, type. As per one of Tiger's mistress' admissions on his dirty sexual bedroom habits, he needed all the adult industry women on the side because of the nature of his sexual habits. He enjoyed asphyxiating them, slapping them in the face, and pissing on them. These were only some of his fairly frequent requests.

A lot of men have an issue doing those kinds of things to the sweet mother of their children. Of course had she known he had these inclinations/kinks/needs perhaps she would have either a) tried to fulfill some of his needs herself or b) simply rethought her long terms plan with a man who had some pretty heightened sexual quirks.

Granted, "do you prefer rope on your throat or pillow to the mug when you are about to cum?" and "quick undo your blouse, I gotta take a leak" are probably not the easiest lines to break out when you want to impress someone.

Call me crazy, but I highly doubt these things were discussed during the dating stage of their relationship, her being a family friend of a colleague and all....just can't see it happening.

I never took dating an older woman very seriously..

My view is that women repeatedly pick the wrong type of man, treat them the wrong way, then cry about "infidelity".

Seriously, how ridiculous is it to marry someone, then spend 11 months away from them? Women need to work a little harder at keeping their man than their career.

All this talk of SB's age...I looked up some photos today (mostly because I wasn't crystal clear on what JJ looked like, lol), and she looks 10 YEARS younger than him. More, maybe. She looks gorgeous. So much more beautiful than the OW.

Same is true for Tiger's mistresses, of course. None could touch Elin in beauty.

Cali, is there a random age when you believe a woman becomes undesirable, even if she looks better than women half her age?

Are you certain about this? Something tells me you're being disingenuous, one more time...

No, that's not your point at all.

This is your point, rather than the above referenced one. This is your point, which leverages off fiction, since she was only away for 90 days and who knows, how many times the two met by flying back and forth.

No one should have to "keep" their man or woman. Adult relationships are ones where two people want to be together, rather than a mother and child relationship, where Peter gets to play all day and gets his nappy changed, when he gets wet.

Adult relationships are built on mutual respect and when one party no longer wants to be with the other person, they maturely walk away, rather than cheat.

I have no idea what Sandra really looks like without all of the professional make up.

However, i feel if she married a man 5-10 years older chances are she would not be cheated on, or the chances would be lower.

She will never have kids either..Just what bond do they have, especially considering they are never together?
