HurtinginVA
Why cant I help myself? LOL Its awful, awful, awful!! Since me and H are trying to make things work, youd think that the last thing I would want to do is aggravate or annoy him right? Well, that's what a normal, sane person would think. I know, for a fact, it annoys him when I call him during the day, unless I have a darn good reason to call. I dont blame him, he's a private investigator and me calling to say "hey" while he's chase driving is probably VERY annoying. So why do I still want to call him? I mean I know why, I want to hear his voice, I want to say I love, Im thinking about you etc....knowing full well Im gonna end up pissing him off.......lordy lordy. Doesnt make any sense does it? Havent called yet......keep me away from the phones before I aggravate him more!!! Sheesh.
AMN819
BEEN THERE...Drove my ex NUTS. We were working things out and finally he said "I don't know what the h*ll I am gonna do. You are gonna drive me crazy. Stop calling me crying or I am not gonna get my space you are gonna piss me off and I am never gonna be able to deal with you again"...I didn't call for three weeks. Finally I got a text message that said "I miss you baby". We got back together and he told me that he didn't think I would ever quit calling. He apologized for being mean, but he actually HAD TO. I'd say QUIT. You are gonna push him to where he doesn't wanna be friends. TRUST ME!! Get in a chat room. Go to the mall and leave your phone at home...

moimeme
Do exactly what you did. Come here to vent. Call another friend. Call the weather office to get a weather update. Call museums and listen to the hours and exhibits. Put a BIG sign on the phone that says 'DO NOT DO IT'. Write him a note. Plan a loving thing to do for him or with him. Write in a journal. lost_in_chgo
I too found the calls annoying at times, but there is an easy way to deal with that if it acceptable to your guy: pager or cell phone text messaging. Most cell phone support incoming msgs at no charge and text pagers do too. Numeric only pager can use your own private codes. A page doesn't have to be answered right away, can be silent and is really nice to get when you are busy because you get the benefit of the thought without the interruption that may compromise you in a business situation.
