Star Gazer
....but good lord you KNOW when you have water intoxication or whatever because you will projectile vomit like there is no tomorrow. That was not true in Jennifer Strange's case.
sb129
You sound obsessed. LB, you need to just RELAX! Does it REALLY matter? If its not one thing you are worrying about its another. You will never have everything you want all at once. In the weeks leading up to your wedding you will drop a few pounds from the stress without even trying- I did and I am pretty sure I was a relatively laid back bride. TaraMaiden
And I know the attorney that won that case. They sued the radio station....right? Laurie, you're stressed. Try to stop obsessing because you'll make yourself ill.... Really, calm down. WHY does it matter to you? What's the worst thing that can happen if you don't lose these couple of pounds....? Citizen Erased
That's true, but I want to lose weight. It's not just the numbers on the scale I really don't look THAT much thinner. I more or less just toned up I didn't really get THINNER. I know I sound obsessed, ugh. Are you kidding me? You look great! You showed us photos from before you lost that weight and then trying on those wedding gowns, you have lost a very noticeable amount of weight and toned up. You will look beautiful. You need to relax, you will make yourself ill.

blind_otter
That was not true in Jennifer Strange's case. From what I understand the last anyone heard from her she was crying and said her head hurt, and she did call in sick from work... so I'm pretty sure she was probably already showing the symptoms, which include but are not limited to headache and uncontrollable vomiting. I mean why would she call in sick if she felt fine?
laRubiaBonita
It matters to me..I wish it didn't. i really know how you feel, i struggle with my perception of myself everyday- i say it's not the scale, which in part it's not, but it is. i dropped 100+ pounds over 12 years ago, yet i still see and percieve myself as that fat girl i was... and you know what- the Thinner i get, the WORSE i get and the more i see fat girl and the drive to drop weight intensifies right now i feel like a whale.... even though the scale tells me i am only 2 lbs. more than what i have set for myself as my Healthy and ideal weight (and in reality, i know that the weight i have set as my ideal is probably at the low healthy end for my body type). like i said- it is a very slippery slope to tread- especially for you. right now you have a job that is subpar and all the stress that comes with a wedding and planning. It is sooo much easier to focus a lot of attention on something within your "control"- your weight. especially since you have been in a place where others may have told you you could stand to lose it. so you use the stress and out of control feelings and focus them on losing weight... something that you think you control- but it soon controls you and you are the slave to your obsessions.
