moimeme
There is what's known as an 'addictive personality' which is exactly what you are talking about. silversoulfly
Speaking as a addict, yes, I believe addicts can become addicted to anything. We are creatures of habit. I've heard that there is a gene for addiction. Whether science has proven this, I don't know. All I know is that there is something different about addicts that makes us predisposed to become obsessed and dependent.
silk_sword
sounds like oral fixation - remember crazy freud. however, it does make sense. it appears that when u need comfort, u tend to veer towards things associated with the mouth: smoking, eating... maybe this is something to consider. good luck - i wish the best for u. moimeme
It's about neurotransmitters. You need to tweak your dopamine and/or seratonin and addictive behaviours do just that.
