But make sure it's not too mushy, or that it won't imply other things. I don't think flowers and candy is a good idea since you're just friends. Actually, I'm not too fond of those things as a gift anyway. Don't get me wrong, flowers are nice, but I prefer something more creative. Maybe something handmade. But that's beside the point. Find out what she's interested in and get her something to go along with that. If she's into music, get her a CD that she's been wanting. Or burn her a CD of songs you think she'd like (as long as they're not too romantic). Or you could take her to her favorite place in town (such as a museum, art gallery, park, restaurant, etc...) and just give her a friendly Valentine's Day card. Whatever you do, keep it casual and fun. Good luck!
