MWC_LifeBeginsAt40 Posted April 21, 2010 Share Posted April 21, 2010 I'm the luckiest woman alive. Who would have thought I would be in the place I am now, knowing where I was a year ago. I've come a long way. I'm going to be a step-mom to two wonderful kids, and their father, the love of my life, is the most amazing person I have ever come to know. He has done so much for me. The relationship I have with my own children is enhanced. They love having me around, they love the family time we all share together. I am so looking forward to more family adventures. I also know it's not a fairytale, and we have thoroughly discussed the many challenges we face. We are open and honest, we have disclosed our pasts to each other and there are no secrets. We will be having a church wedding in a few months, dinner and dance, not overdone but aiming for elegance and trying to stay away from tradition in some ways. We are saving sex for marriage, even though we will soon share a home that we bought together (it just worked out that way with selling our homes) but we won't sleep together. I just wanted to share my good news for a change. Oh and I might be on here for wedding plan advice though!!! I just spent more $$ on postage than I spent on the invitations themselves.
