dyermaker
Btw Viv, "Good luck learning" was @ silk, who said she was learning Originally posted by Vivid_29 Dyer, By the way -- Ever heard how some Led Zep made some conceptual songs to 'The Lord of the Rings'? Of course! The gain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath. Misty Mountain Hop and Battle of Evermore are the only ones that I know of, LOTR Songs. Over the Hills and Far Away is a love song. Stairway is just stairway, don't try to figure it out. Originally posted by silk_sword dyer - how long have u been playing for? was it hard to learn? ever play for a band? (sorry - i pry too much!) Been playing for about six months, and it was initially hard, that learning curve, but I'm getting better. The songs I play sound like songs. I've never played for a band, but I've been offered--I'm looking for people who share my musical tastes. Most people are into singing about breakups over three successive distorted power chords, and have no respect for a good, clean solo.
silk_sword
i like both. i love the solo's, but i also enjoy a constant strum. sounds funny, but it is something about it. either way, it's still a wonderful instrument. i've always loved string instruments. vivid is very good too. i love his solo's. oooo i can't wait to learn!! i'm excited already! Author heartburn
No Vivid, I don't like to be hurt! I describe myself as being more tolerant than others. Because I am a forgiving person, does that give a person the right to take me for granted. In time, I got tired! Just as God, who is also a forgiving father will get tired of us if we don't change our lives. After 10 years, he can not say I did not give him a chance! I have forgiving him, but I have also moved on. Now he realized what he had! A GOOD WOMAN!
Vivid_29
I describe myself as being more tolerant than others. 10 years is too long to tolerate anyones crap! Because I am a forgiving person, does that give a person the right to take me for granted. The reason he takes you for granted is because you are way too forgiving! After 10 years, he can not say I did not give him a chance! You pretty much made that clear in your initial post! A GOOD WOMAN! I don't doubt that you are. So, what's the verdict? ~V
Author heartburn
Depend on GOD and Me, Myself, and I. That's the verdict, Vivid! I know you are not tough as you appear. I sure you have allowed others to hurt you as well before saying ENOUGH! What's your story?
