Buentiel, I agree with Elswyth, so please bear with my poor English

 

The time before meeting had been full of romance and worries. I saw myself, a divorced single mother at the age of 40s, with poor figure and outlook, with lots of barriers in starting a new relationship as a Chinese, I just could not imagine could experience that real romance again!!

 

Though from the beginning when I met my So online, I knew that he was looking for a woman with inner qualities, people who could share the rest of life with each others. We shared similiare experiences and character was a good match. I was quite a time before showing up in cam, due to my sense of inferiority. And when preparing his visit after three month of acquaintance, my stress and worries reached to the top level.

 

I have thought that let us keep the best moments when I worried real meeting would lead to disapointment , and breaking of dreams whatsoever. There were lots of unsleeping days , mixed with excitement and insecure feeling.

 

I was even offering the wrong venue in the airport qne I was late too, oh too nervous!! Then when I received his call saying that he could not find the place I said but was waiting for me in in front of another store, my heart was beating that fast when I was staggering towards the destination. He saw me first and called my name. I was immediately relaxed when he reacted and behaved as he used to be when we met online. He even said that he would be so touching to meet me when even he saw me crippled.

 

All anxieties disappeared and we had a great time.....

 

There are still lots of barriers ahead, but we are committed to work through them to move closer with time, until that day we can have full stay in one place together!!!

 

 

All relationships in LD are not easy, but I trust that :love: real love can overcome all difficulties to make dreams come true

Thank you for sharing your story! Hehe, your English is fine; besides, I'm used to it. Sorry if I broke a rule by asking to use 中文, I've only posted here a few times before.

 

I have to state again how similar your worries sound to my SO's own worries. At least now I know I can better understand her fears and provide appropriate support. Of course I would have worries and stress, too, but not so much. I should be mindful of that to make her feel better I also enjoyed reading your story about how you gave the wrong address because I imagine a very stressful time that is seemingly blown away when you actually meet. Very romantic

The first meeting in real would be great if your So acts as he used to be. Hence the real meeting has confirmed the relationship to guarantee a great time in the first real acquaintance.

I was glad I had things to distract me the couple of days before I met Pyro. The long flights, meeting up with someone else the day before...I'd have been freaking out otherwise.

 

Then, my last flight there...I was so impatient to finally see him, I never really had the chance to be nervous. Until I got there and he was late so I was sitting down and then I saw him.... He doesn't know yet, cos I haven't admitted before, I saw him walking from the other side of the airport but I was nervous so I just pretended to be looking around while I got myself together. I'm weird. And when he picked me up and hugged me it was the best moment of my life. And it continued to be the best time I've spent with anyone. I am so impatient to be back there.

 

If that was how things were for us after knowing each other 4 years, I hope it goes just as well, or rather perfect, for you two.

Thank you!! I am really nervous but very excited! He has been sending me text countdowns lol and he even looked up how many hrs till I'm there lol I am really looking forward to my time and seeing a new city. Going to Chicago and never been. I always wanted to travel. I am taking a bus ride home:eek: So it will be 2 days but I get to go through a lot of states I never been through. I'm glad that my birthday is the day before and I have some plans that day to keep me busy. Even a adult party (Pure Romance) im hosting that should be fun plus I get free gift as well lol
