Spengles
My friend and I have decided to take things one date at a time just so things won't end up in a mess which is perfectly fine for me. For our first "real" date, I want to act as if I don't know her yanno. So it would be like a typical date. Any ideas or recommendations for making things special?
quankanne
I think that because you have a history together as friends, it might actually be easier to come up with some ideas of what to do for your first date together to make it special. my best friend caught up with a classmate of ours many, many years after we got out of high school and their first date consisted of them driving up to Enchanted Rock (in the Texas Hill Country), then down to the coast. Because they'd been friends in high school, the communication thing was already there -- the fun came with the adventurous nature their date!
KS
Arrange to turn up at a bar (or somewhere similar) as complete strangers. Just walk up to her and ask if she minded if you sat down. Then offer to buy her a drink and begin a conversatin with her as though you'd never met. If you fix the ground rules before it can be one hell of a date!
