JamesX123
So I met this girl at a party last night, she's my best friends sisters best friend. So everything went well we didn't kiss or anything but spent the whole night dancing, talking etc. We exchanged numbers and I'm pretty interested in her but I'm not sure if I should ask her for a coffee or whatever yet or wait until we next bump into each other at another party/gathering? (although this could be in a few weeks.) As I'm not sure how she feels about me I don't want to come on too strong incase it put's her off, and I'm reluctant to ask my mates sister as she's not the best person at keeping a secret. skydiveaddict
If it were me I would call her for a coffee date
ADF
Why would your dating this woman need to be a secret? She clearly likes you. Ask her out, already.
CodenameD
When you two met how was she around you. Was she free with you or should signs of easiness around you? If so, you might as well ask her out right away. Or if you think she is still not ready for something like this so sudden, delay a little while and observe what's she's like and then make your move. You can also intend to initiate a meeting with her (without her realizing that you were behind it). See if your best friend can help you if not his sister. Good luck. Hoping all should go well for you. Edited April 26, 2010 by CodenameD
Author JamesX123
I'm just wondering because since my last gf who I went out for years, I haven't properly "dated" just random hook ups at party's etc hence why I'm slightly rusty at this. Thanks for the replies guys

Author JamesX123
after texting the whole day with her and finally saying we should go for coffee sometime no reply after 3 hours... (shes 17, 2 years younger than me) I guess the maturity of a simple I'm not interested isnt there yet. Ah well.
Author JamesX123
ok so i finally got a reply but not what i was expecting. In the last text I wrote: "Oh you just happened to find it as I put it there and walked inside [this is about my drink she "stole" at the party] Lol well then when we go for coffee this week I might accidentally find your drink and keep it then xx" (that was me technically telling her we're going for coffee rather than asking) to which she replies: "Hah cheeky xo" Now what am i meant to reply? shall i just set up the date or is that her way of deflecting the offer?
