BlueeyedJonesy
My H has recently came to face the fact that he is/was a sexual addict almost 7 mos ago..my story is here and I've been here ever since. WE are doing alot better and are finally moving in the right direction...BUT....he has been in counseling since D-day (oct 09) his counselor called today and said he is leaving the practice (hes pretty old) but hes been amazing with my H..and I am terrified that he will have a relapse if he stops seeing him.I CANNOT deal with any slip up..I know it sounds crazy but hes used up all his chances and I don't want to end up right back where we were...How do I address this? do I just come out and say "no, don't stop...I'm afraid of what will happen."? does anyone have experience with a recovering SA? I need insight...Thanks
Sazerac
Doesn't your H's counselor have someone he could refer your H to? That's standard practice for any counselor/therapist who is retiring. If he hasn't broached this with you or your H, ask him point blank.
