Thinkalot
Write down your worries in a journal before you go to sleep. Tell your mind the worries are put away now until the morning, that lying awake will not solve them. Try meditation CDs before bed. Or reading a book to calm down. Get into a "going to sleep" routine. Take time out during the day. Don't push yourself too hard. Good luck.
Ring Out
Fake a sick day man. You need the time off to clear your head. Daytime TV is the perfect remedy for that. Try to do it in the middle of the week so it has the most impact. Just dont do anything crazy-- because High School is almost over for you. I also recommend Nyquil, not Unisom, that stuff will knock you out for 14 hours. I'm about to have some myself. Cheers
longlegzs80
When I was in college and had tons of stuff on my mind and finals and tons of projects, I could not sleep at all. Last year when I was going through a very hectic time in my life, I did not sleep for 5 days seriously, and I got sick and just could not kick it. I don't know what to tell you. I could definitly relate but the only thing I suggest is to try to manage your time as far as your school work goes and focus having time to yourself. Seriously, I have had the breakdowns infront of tons of people at school, I have just basicly let myself go because I had so much work and so little time and sleep. It made me do crazy things when I was up at college that made people worry. So, my suggestion to you is find some time for yourself, your friends and manage your time well with homework etc. Think about high school and getting through it, and things will work out. Sleep will come and everything will be fine. I don't know how you are, but if sleep has a major effect on you and if you don't get it, it could make you have nerous breakdowns. That is seriously what happened to me, more then once when I was up all night, working on tons of stuff, etc., and worrying that I won't be able to graduate on time with classmates. Talk it out with someone. Whatever you need to talk out do so. Whether it is your worries, schooling, what your going to do after schooling etc. I had to talk to someone, just to get major help and advice. And that is what I recommend to you. Talk to your mom, dad, friend, family member etc., someone who will hear you out. Things will end up better, less stressful and you will get the sleep you need. And too, if you don't have anyone to talk to or you need advice, there are alot of great people on this site who will be more then willing to help you out in anyway possible. So, don't hesitate to speak to us if you have any issues. You take care and let us know how your making out. SARAH

brashgal
I have been having trouble sleeping lately and my ears have been ringing - some of your hearing problem could be sleep-related.
