As per requested, I have posted an LS album of a few shirtless douche pics of me. It's public, so just go to my LS profile...

I generally work out at the gym 3 or 4 times a week, run maybe once a week, and play hockey and golf. My diet is relatively clean, except for the occasional pizza buffet or Taco Bell...at this point I'm quite content with where I am, but I'm sure there's always room for improvement...but as always, I am always happy to provide any physical fitness assistance, advice, and guidance that I can to LS members...

I chose black and white because it hides my farmer's tan better...hours spent outside golfing will definitely do a number on you...

Hopefully some of you might think even less of me as I demonstrate my vanity, pretentiousness, and sheer douchebaggery by posting these pics...so feel free to flame as you please...I'm fully prepared for it... :o

PS...Thanks cuppa... ;)

Looking great, man (no homo)! I have absolutely no suggestions, especially in the fat loss department.

That's some rad ink too.

USMCHokie, If you don't mind me asking, would you post your height, weight, and what your training schedule looks like so that we might benefit from looking at the training of someone who has achieved and maintained their goals?

nice muscle definition ... subtle, manly and definitely sexy. Too bad you're young enough to be my kid ;)

OH! what do the characters of the tattoo represent?

Okay, okay. Maybe that's what I should have said.

Oh, and - nice butt! :p

what's up with the self bashing...you are looking great! if they want to flame, they should flame me since I ask for it lol.

I think your body is nice, not too big, lean & muscular. Your body type is like many MMA fighters. Sort of like Brad Pitt in fight club or Cam Gigandet in Never back down.

Very nice! I don't see any more improvement needed other than maintenance like you said.

:laugh::laugh: well ... I thought of it, but didn't want to appear to be a hornball lusting after a beautiful young body. Now that it's out there, I'm jumping on the bandwagon!!!

Heh, thanks.

Absolutely.

Height: 5' 8"

Weight: 155 lbs

At the moment, I am really doing a much more scaled down workout program as I'm in maintenance mode and don't really like to spend too much time in the gym. I also rarely do any arm specific exercises. I may do an "arms day" once every month or so. But this is just an example of the exact workouts I did last week. For this past week, all sets were to max rep with decreasing weight after each set. Each set was generally 4-6 reps, unless it was a 'no weight' set which I could do a few more reps.

Monday: Back

4 x Weighted pullups (100 lb, 65 lb, 45 lb, no weight)

3 x Bosu ball barbell deadlift (135 lb, 185 lb, 215 lb) (I have started working extensively with the Bosu ball, where any exercise that is done standing is instead done standing and balancing on the plastic side of the Bosu ball. This is GREAT for the core...)

Tuesday: Chest

First, I need to describe the balance ball pushups...this is something of my own creation...you take a Bosu ball and a regular large balance ball...hands go on the plastic side of the Bosu ball, while your feet are on top of the balance ball, so that your body is balancing on just the two balls...and you do pushups...but I do them with weight plates placed on my back)

5 x Balance Ball pushups (145 lbs, 125 lbs, 100 lbs, 45 lbs, no weight)

3 x decline barbell bench press

3 x Bosu ball cable flies

Wednesday: Legs

Box jump day...

Thursday: Shoulders

3 x seated military press

3 x Bosu ball lateral dumbbell raises

3 x Bosu ball front dumbbell raises into shoulder press

Friday - Sunday: Golf and rest

I'll try to post my week's workout at the end of each week if you'd like. I usually mix it around a lot, but I'm never in the gym for more than 45 minutes - 1 hour. This past week's workouts were a little easier than usual... :o

Heheh, thanks... :bunny:

Left side, "Semper fidelis" or Always Faithful (Marine Corps motto)

Right side, "Phoenix rises from the ashes" (got this a little while after breaking up with the ex...)

I actually don't do ab exercises on their own very often... :o

But if I do, which is usually maybe once every two weeks, I'll concentrate on weighted exercises, like that weighted crunch machine, which I love...I'll usually do descending rep sets with that machine (15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4 reps) at a weight that would essentially give me max rep sets...

Also, ever since I started incorporating the balance ball and Bosu ball into my exercises, it has helped my core tremendously...

Just like everyone says, abs really are all about diet...

am curious: With this regimen, does it impact your strength?

Heheh, yep, but it isn't a literal translation...literally translated it would be (always, forever, or eternally) + (fidelity, loyal, or devoted)...

I wanted to check you out, but I guess I have no access to the LS album?????

You might need to be an established member...? You meet the time requirements (Dec join date), but maybe not the post count requirement (50...?). I'll try to load them onto a photo hosting site later tonight...

Yes, very much so. Generally, with a low rep high weight program, you will develop strength over mass. Since I started doing basic bodyweight exercises (pushups, pullups) by adding a lot more weight to my body, my body strength has increased tremendously. For example, I can probably do a couple dead hang pullups with a 115 lb girl on my back...(wouldn't that be a sweet bar trick...)

*ahem* makes you just want to take a bite, doesn't it? :p

Daaaaayum. I had no idea you were so... hot!

You are a good looking man, and have a nicely cut body.

Yeah looking really good! I may have to call an ambulance. ;)

What exactly do you eat every day?

...but gently, with just the teeniest little pressure to it. Just enough to make him squirm a little.:laugh:
