karim11 Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 Well where do i begin, my girlfriend has problems, she physically abuses herself. Though she leads a normal life from a normal family lacking a lot of freedom. I dont understand why she did that and i dont know if she is still doing it, but she told me that the reason she is doing that is because of the amount of mocking she had like 2 years ago from her friends her teachers everyone around her, she also said that its because of the amount of times she was used by people including her ex-bfs which later led her to believe that all boys are bad. Which brings me to the next point, when we 1st began going out she told me that she has this thing of making boys falling for her and than dumping them because of revenge, i was 2 stupid 2 realize that she was telling the truth, she broke up with me 3 days ago, however she called me yesterday and she said that we have lots of things in common and she stopped her wrong doings such as hurting herself and using boys and today her best friend comes to me and tells me that she likes me now again. I do have fellings for her but what in the hell should i do,if i go back to her im afraid that she will do the same thing yet if we stay apart im afraid she will loose her feelings towards me and i will never loose mine...Im pretty messed up in the head now so i would appreciate help as soon as possible. Reckless Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 Sounds like your girl has a few problems she needs to sort out before she's ready for a relationship. I'm not sure what type of physical self abuse you are referring to but whatever the case you are probably neither qualified or capable of helping her if she has deep emotional problems. There are not guarantees in life, especially in love, but if she has a history of yo-yo relationships, you are probably in for a bumpy ride if you get back together with her. You sound pretty unhappy without her but I'd hazard a guess you'll be worse with her unless she's sorted herself. Give yourself time, you'll live. Link to post Share on other sites
