Guest Posted July 10, 2000 Share Posted July 10, 2000 ok..well i think personally if a girl asked me out that it is quite attractive if she does it in a good way...so i think that if you want him to notice you then when you catch him looking to just give him a little smile...and if you really want him then maybe make him catch you looking at him... in all honesty it just takes one of you to just say "hi" to start things off..as far as finding out if he has a girlfriend, you could do two things...first, if you can muster up the courage you go up to him and ask him if he wants to go grab a cup of coffee or something...i know a girl who did that to a guy and they've been dating for a couple of months since then..but if you want to be a littel bit more conservative about it then the only way you'll find out is through speaking to him...and that is something that sounds like you might have to initiate...if you start up a conversation about something other than something that sounds like you're trying to ask him out, then the tension will be lifted and you can find a time to feel more comfortable to ask him out...and it might help to know him a little bit before you asked him out..who knows it might just take you smiling at him to get him to ask YOU out...my advice is this...if you are patient then try to flirt with him and get him to ask you out...if you can't stand it any more then just go up and ask him out...sometimes honesty is the best policy... I have been asked out a few times and I thought it was flattering. there are three ways to know if he is singlt 1) stalk him ( I don't recomend that) 2) ask one of his friends, but the best way is #3 ask him your self... good luck and don't be scared I'm sure you'll have fun. ok guys...i need some advice. I want to hook up with this guy i know from one of my classes, but i am a bit on the shy side. So, how do i get his attention? He came over to talk to me last week, but only for a minute because it was in the lab and we were both busy. I always catch him looking at me, and it seems like he is interested. I have thought of going up to talk to him, but im too nervous..help....how do i get his attention? Also, what do guys think when girls ask them out....i want to ask him to come to "scary movie" with me (my older bro just saw it and laughed his a** off).
