I prefer the way skinny women look.

Heh, it was meant to be a joke... :o

But now it's not as funny...but maybe it wasn't funny to begin with...darn...now I can hear the sad Charlie Brown Christmas song playing... :(

I make the jokes, you just need to sit there and look pretty. Though not this pretty, obviously.

Come to think of it, there's a certain Charlie Brown pathos about that picture. I've looked at it four times now, and each time I've lost at least an ounce of happiness. I think the fact that he's smiling slightly makes it worse.

Good looking, a body to die for, seeming humility :p, AND a sense of humor.

Bless He's like a teddy bear.

I have to ask, Elswyth. What search terms did you google to conjure up that vision? Is thumbs.dreamstime an "adult baby" site?

LOL! Nothing so interesting as your suggestion or Hokie's, unfortunately. ;) Merely 'overweight man', but when I saw that one I knew I had a keeper! :bunny::bunny::bunny:

You were right! He's represents the "nice guy who can't understand why he always comes last". However, we also need a man who has a flavour of "no more Mr Nice Guy. My AFC days are behind me. Them bitches got it comin' and good.

So, for the delectation of everyone:

Are you callin' my pizza a woman, bitch?

Hee, I guess that guy has dreams of being this guy: (Full pic doesn't load, sorry ;))

Her boobs are fantastic. So natural looking, that I think they may in fact be natural. Unfortunately the same can be said of his.

Hehe, that one just made my day. Reminds me of some overweight college male friends of mine who were all excited about meeting some girl they'd known online. Excited until they actually saw her, that is. They ran off making crude jokes about her, even though one of them had at least 30 lbs of pure fat over her.:rolleyes:

Ha. I saw it years ago on a site. Someone created it in answer to the same type of situation you write about.

I'm a huge fan of vintage clothing, and there's a favorite store of mine in NJ that I went to a few times, bought a few things from... The store has hardly anything that would fit an average-sized woman today, let alone a woman who would be considered fat today.

I have quite a few vintage pieces myself. The only problem I have is that I am 5'8" which few women were back then (Ingrid Bergman and Sophia Loren), so a lot of the waists on dresses are too high on me, darn it. Women seemed to be smaller busted as well and I am a D or DD but slim. At least I can wear the straight shifts from the Sixties and Seventies to belt or not.

My mother always said that when she was single she was "a perfect size 10" which was considered the "ideal" in the Forties and Fifties. She had a 24" waist. That is probably a size 2 today. I hate vanity sizing!

How can you tell that just from looking at a picture of his torso??

You can: ANY guy that is not a pro athlete and that spends *that much* time on his body is either gay or has some related issues.

Mmhmm. Men who spend time on their appearance are 'gay and have issues', whereas women who do are 'hot and dateable'. Totally makes sense. ;)

I question the "manhood" of a man who can not see the beauty of the woman in the photo brainygirl linked above.

That doesn't change the fact that she's fat.

Those curves are womanhood--bellies and hips that grow babies. I'm smaller, and still very much a woman, but many, many healthy, fit women look closer to that photo than like me, especially during and after pregnancy.

I don't equate being obese with "womanhood." I equate it with eating too much and exercising too little. Same as for obese men.

Please, I beg of you men who seem to only like flat bellied women--don't marry and have kids. Your future wives deserve to feel sexy and desired during all the stages of their lives.

That still doesn't change the fact that the lady in that picture is fat.

Well.. I don't agree but most of the pics of men that have been posted are obviously models/actors who must spend an extraordinary amount of time working out and counting every calorie. Which of course female models do as well. But a woman to look like the girls in the beach photo doesn't need to put all that extra time into muscle building. If these guys have 40 - 60 hr /week desk jobs and other life responsibilities like most of us they wouldn't do much but that and the gym leaving little time for much else in life.

I see these types at the gym. I go 3 - 5 times a week when I can. They're working out like 2-3 hrs a day seven days a week. Not much of a life.

But I think that was the point of the pics right?

You're kidding, right? You evidently have no idea how much time an even moderately attractive woman puts into her appearance. Correct, the female models do not need to spend as much time bodybuilding as the male models do, even though males get rid of fat easier.

But.

How much time do you think they take to get hair like that? Trims, treatment, and styling at the salon, hair masks and daily serum at home, blowdrying and heatstyling each day before going out. The skin: Cleansing, toning, and moisturizing, all sorts of creams and facial masks, waxing or daily shaving to get those smooth legs. The makeup: Yes girls in those photos ALWAYS wear makeup, even if it isn't immediately obvious to you. Lots of very professionally-applied makeup. Additionally, manicures and pedicures for the hands and nails. Shopping for the clothes, shoes, and accessories to flatter the body.

All of which the hot males in the pictures do not do. Sorry, but if your argument is how much time it takes, I am confident that it takes more time for a woman to look good than a man.

I'm very glad you got the point, though. :) Both the men and women in those photos took an extraordinary amount of time, money, and effort to look like that, yes, and the sooner some of the guys here realize that, the better.

They may not do all the stuff listed but they are models. They do a lot from your list.

Really? Like which? Do you think the remainder that they do not do is lesser or greater in terms of time requirements than the extra time taken to build muscles compared to a female model who exercises to keep herself toned and fit, then?

Hi.P.O'Crit

Don't know. Don't care. All I was addressing was the assertion that they, hot male models, did none of the things you mentioned.

All these pictures of ripped guys is making me insecure. :(

Don't be, most of those guys are on steroids. Steriods is the equivalant to female anorexia, but no one really seems to care. The girls just scream and drool over them while they are killing themselves to be that ripped. It's really sad. Any idiot can take steroids. The guys that get like that from hard work are the ones to be insecure about.

Right, but the "hot" women in the pictures you've put up haven't had plastic surgery, don't starve themselves to stay thin, don't spend a fortune in time and money on appearance and are completely realistic representations of healthy woman hood. (and yes, I know I am a representation of fat woman hood, that is entirely beside my current point)
