Thinkalot
These have helped me quite a bit, maybe they'll help you too. The Power is Within You. Louise Hay. Great for building self esteem and a sense of self Reconcilable Differences. Christensen & Jacobson. Excellent for improving communication in a relationship. The Universal Heart. Stephanie Dowrick. A good general/spritual self improvement book, which has great advice on how to live better and be happier and of more loving heart. Until Today!Iyanla Vanzant. Daily devotions for spiritual growth and peace of mind. Intimacy and Solitude. Stephanie Dowrick. How to balance the two... Just wanted to share, in case they can help someone else along their journey of self improvement and healing. Power to you, my fellow Lshackers! Thinkalot.
Venéa
Thanks think, I may take a trip to the library later and have a look at some of these. Question though: I don't really want someone 'preaching' to me...these books aren't religion-based are they? Nothing wrong with that for other people of course, just I don't believe in that method (aethiest).
Author Thinkalot
I'm not super religious either, spiritual yes, but I dont like preaching much either. Some of them may speak in spiritual terms about a higher power or "god" but they are still really helpful. Mostly they are just good general self help books.
