long distance relationship

Recommended Posts

I have an excellent relationship with my long distance carrier and don't plan to switch.

Now, if you are talking about long distance relationships with the opposite sex, they usually don't work out well and end up in heartache. On occasion, two people are committed enough to pull it off. But in the majority of cases, you are lots better off dating someone who is in your geographical area.

I am dumbfounded at the number of "long distance relationships" where the two have not even met each other. As much as I think it's insane, if it makes the two people happy, more power to them. People who have fears of intimacy or other phobias concerning relationships find long distance situations ideal.

A traditional, healthy relationship requires the physical proximity of its members.

I have also heard of people who've had long distance relationships with persons who were carriers as well.
