iwanttolive
Has anyone ever thought that a church can be a devastating place? It's like a mini model society where everyone behaves properly and conforms to the culture. Members are encouraged to marry within the society or at the very least, another christian who can potentially fit into the commnity. And there are exemplary families with perfect kids, house, acars, etc. I've since quitted that church but I was there for a good 10 years and I can't get out of that mentality. Sometimes when I meet my church mates or attend a wedding there, id feel that my life is not good enough. And it's like they are immuned to all vices and live happily ever after. LucreziaBorgia
Churches can be horribly elitist places, yes. Sometimes there is a huge gap between what a church is supposed to be and what it actually is.
Ross PK
Maybe you just need to cut all ties with the church altogether including your church mates. And then if you give it time things will get better.
jean-luc sisko
Don't go to church. We should always be in places where we are comfortable.
Feelin Frisky
I'd sooner be cornholed by Magic Johnson than go to an effen church. I refuse to be part of such institutionalized mental illness.
