Jerry18
I'm talking to a girl online right now and I got a lot of great advice telling me what to do when meeting her. But, I'm really interested in knowing if it's possible to like somebody just based on their MSN/Skype (including video) conversations. If so, how long did it take you to like that person? Thanks
Citizen Erased
Well I knew him online 4 years before we started heading in a more personal direction. It didn't take long at all, there was already something established there, how we were with each other. I trusted him really quickly because I knew so much about him before he was interested in me romantically. We met about 4 months later and I was already in love with him...thank God our meeting was amazing.
aerogurl87
I met my boyfriend online and it took me about a week of texting and chatting on MSN constantly, plus on the phone to really like him as more than a friend. By the time our first week of talking was over I was sure I wanted to not only meet him soon but date him as well. And so our relationship began and is still going good almost 5 months later. Thanks I think for my case with my wife, it took us around 4-5 months of blog/skype/msn messaging before we decided to be together.
carvidep
In 2006 we became language-sharing penpals. We had an immediate connection as far as penpals/friends go. In 2008 I studied abroad in his country we met in person for one afternoon as friends. A few months later we realized that we liked each other, which began for both of us after that meeting. White Dove
It took me about a couple of months before I developed a real interest in him and a few months later, after lots of discussions, we decided we wanted more. I'm lucky to have found someone that wasn't afraid to communicate his feelings about anything.
Els
In my case, we both were acquaintances IRL at first, but I was in a relationship at that time and he barely spoke to me, so I hardly paid him much notice. Unbeknownst to me, though, he'd already developed feelings for me at that stage, but restrained them because I was taken. Fast forward about a year, he was overseas by then, and I'd broken up with my bf. He started talking to me a lot, opening up to me like I'd never seen him do to anyone (he's a pretty reserved person in public) and we became 'friends', although now that I think back to it, it was probably a friendship only to me, and a courtship to him (yeah, I know, fuel for the 'men don't ever want to be just friends with women' camp, eh?). Short version: I developed feelings for him after 2 months of online conversation, although truth be told I wasn't all that 'sure' until we met IRL again, a few months after that. wtmom
I met my man online and it took a three hour conversation in one night to know we were perfect for each other and we still our. We talk and see each other every chance we can and from day one we have both felt the same way about each other. We both feel like we were meant together. I never thought in a million years that i would feel so strongly for someone that i had not even met at the time, but we got together a few days after talking and he was everything i ever dreamed of.
