Need an Answer

Hello LoveShack forum! I have a simple question: Does this girl like me or not?

 

I started to like this girl in 8th grade, though I barely knew her. I had just moved to the state in 7th grade and was adjusting to the community, so going out with any girls wasn't my priority. But in freshmen year of highschool, my interest for her dropped completely. I had her AIM and would try to start a friendly conv., only to have her reply to me with "k" or "lol" and log out. Though we had the same classes (two I believe), she went out with a senior and junior (In such order) and broke up with two of them, making me think that I would never have a chance with her.

 

But everything changed in sophmore year, and I mean EVERYTHING. Though it was a slow start, towards Feb.- March, my schedule for classes changed, making me go a different route after this one class. As I walked through the hallway for the first time, I saw this girl who smiled at me and said, "Hi!" Too shy, I just waved and smiled, calling myself an idiot as I passed by her. Each day was a struggle as I attempted to actually look at her and form a smile. I remember one time that I had to go to a teacher's classroom before I saw her, and as I was talking to the teacher, the girl literally said "HI" and waved at me from the hallway to the teacher's room, seeing me go to this room.

 

Not only that, but we have a common taste in music. We would both start up a conversation for an hour or two about a person and his/her music. Sometimes we would be the only ones up on AIM and help each other out on a lab or homework, having a conv. while doing so.

 

Just this past weekend, both of us went to a friend's birthday party, and 99% of the time, when I sat at one place, she sat right beside me. She even joked around by playfully hitting me (Mind you, she does Tae-Kwon-Do and it hurted an ass-load... But I tried to cover the pain ).

 

The day after that, she asked me if I was watching the World Cup Match. I said yes and she demanded that I text her the scores, knowing that I didn't have her number (In my opinion though, because I never told her it). I told her I didn't have her number, she gave it to me (Saying "yay" on AIM after giving it), and I never felt so happy in my life.

 

All in all, I think I'm in love.

But mind you, this is the first time I ever felt this and I'm not too sure if she's playfully flirting with me, just being a nice friend, or if she really has a liking towards me. Please help me out! Thank you.

There's only one way you'll ever know fer sher. You've got to ask her on a date, man. It's a little scary at first, but no matter what the result, you'll learn something.

 

If you don't ask her out, you'll probably regret it later on.
