aerogurl87
If anyone is that desperate in life to be a slave to their hormones and not realize the weight their vows hold, then that is sad. But when you go and advertise like this, it's worse. What kind of message is that sending to children? Not a good one I tell you and their company should be forced to take down the billboard. It's one thing to advertise in magazines and the like, but doing so out in public like this is just wrong.
Author SpanksTheMonkey
Who is Ashley Madison? Actress? porno performer? I think its just the name of the dating site the billboard is advertising for Joe I mean really is there a shortage of actual singles out there that they had to go that low and try to appeal to married/partners? eww sad statement of the times for sure. JamesM
Unfortunately, you are helping this website and actually directing married individuals to consider it simply by starting this thread. While you may be sickened by it, many who read your thread may be intrigued by it. Have you considered that as a result of your thread some married people may now begin an affair? I am just bringing up that as a thought. I know your intentions are not that, but if this thread continues, then the result may be new members for Ashleymadison.com. Just my 2c. While I respect your view James I just don't see it that way if people on LS are going to cheat they are going to do it regardless if its not thu this thread they can always Google dating sites and go that way. Its no different than some one talking about/linking POF or EHarmony or any of the other billion dating sites out there. You are right tho that was not my intention but I wont be any ones baby sitter ether. If they wanna use my thread for selfish destructive means then thats their faults showing thu not mine. JamesM
While I respect your view James I just don't see it that way if people on LS are going to cheat they are going to do it regardless if its not thu this thread they can always Google dating sites and go that way. I understand what you are saying, but as an example, I never heard of Ashley Madison until someone on LS told me. And while it is true that someone who wants to cheat will cheat, as one who has wanted to at some point in life and yet never had the opportunity...and then lost the desire to cheat, I can say that if someone had mentioned such a site to me at that time, then there is a good likelihood that I might have followed through with it. IMO and knowing how I am, I try to avoid offering someone the opportunity. Having said that, I know without a doubt that you had no intentions to help anyone cheat, and I am guessing that your thread will not turn anyone into a cheater. However, any publicity for AM will be good publicity. I have no doubt that they loved seeing their billboard in the papers and on the internet. Personally, I think such a website is extremely dangerous as there is no way to know who might be on the other end. Perhaps an angry and jilted husband is posing as a woman to snare some other married man. Perhaps a betrayed woman is posing as a woman looking for an affair as a way to out a cheating husband. Too much risk with too little benefit IMO.
