mzfeelgood Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 I went out on a first date with this guy and we had a great time. He paid for lunch and he didn't do the 3 day rule. He began texting me the same night after we met and called me 2 days later. I have not seen him for almost 3 months but we have spoken about seeing each other again on numerous ocassions. We have communicated by text, FB, email and spotty calls. After 2 weeks of not speaking, I texted him last week and after a couple of text exchanges, I asked him about what he was doing for his birthday and responded that he didn't know so I offered to take him out. He bombarded me with messages that afternoon which made me believe that the 2 weeks of silence had not changed much of how we both felt, precisely that he probably still liked me after all. (2 weeks silence on my part was=school exams and very busy). Well, anyway my dilemna is that he said that he would let me know about his birthday weekend plans and it's a week and a few days from today. It has been 4 days since these texts. Do you think I should follow up with him or should I just wait for him to come back to me? FYI: He lives an hour away from me. He is in his 40's and I'm in my 30's. I was just going to take him out for dinner. Should I do or get him anything else for his birthday either way? I will appreciate any appropriate contributions! Thanks...
