Disillusioned
That seems to be a cornerstone of mysticism and miracle-working... the laws of physics only apply to mortals. In scientific terms, God can be defined as a disembodied mind which can occasionally hijack human minds. He is made of energy, but can change into matter and back again as He pleases. He also apparently likes to go incognito as a rescue worker, and though the medical community has not admitted it, He hijacks surgeons' hands during lifesaving operations. I'm sure of it. Feelin Frisky
Yeah, when most people think about super nature and after life's and even time travel and what have you, they seems to see just themselves or just one party being the center of the drama. It all becomes totally preposterous if you deal in real numbers of actual people. Time travel is really "space travel" for instance. It assumes a flat world that is stationary in space rather than the movement of an orb through space. If even one person has a time machine like that of the HG Wells novel on would have to assume that all of the matter that existed at a certain time or will exists somehow for use to just travel to in space--not time. This is fine for sci-fi amusement but in effect, it would require millions of human and Vulcans etc to be who and where they were or when the music stops. That's a riduculous concept because it requires the replication of matter while the place from which we start out our travels continues to exist--in essence filling the cosmos with solid replications of what's in everyone's noodles. It a human centric ego maniacle construct that sees us as the center of and reason for everything else in the cosmos.

aerogurl87
Actually if superhuman beings do exist, which I think they do, they can break the laws of physics as we know them if they reside in a dimension that doesn't have the same constraints of space and time as our own. It sounds like you had a personal experience D . Most of the med community won't admit it...it takes away "their" power:rolleyes:...what a joke huh... I am sure of it also...I've seen and performed the miracles (not surgery...lol), meaning God has used me as an instrument.

Many older folks still believe that BS that MDs have shamanic powers. My buddy's ex is an MD, but her powers seem more diabolic than shamanic...

Author Disillusioned
What amazes me is that the ancients knew about God without having to use one of these... Don't laugh, some rabbi actually offered to buy it!
