If this girl just want to be friends with you because of that, I wouldn't think that she's a very good friend. I think sometimes we get so caught up in our respective situations that we forget that the world still goes on around us ... that sex, while fascinating, is just another piece of a huge ol' puzzle -- it's not a be-all, end-all subject. as for friends chosing you based on their expectations of you: reminds me of a conversation I had with a jock while in college. Billy had been a football player at his high school, and had dated a girl from my school. I asked him about him and Shawn, and he said he wasn't impressed with her because even though she was pretty (always an appealing quality to a young hormone-laden lad ), she was very singular-minded. She didn't care about him, only about what position he played on the team that season! He was put off by the idea of a girl being so status hungry she wouldn't date him because he wasn't playing X position, even though he was an okay enough guy without the jock title! some people are just that shallow, you know?
