Gugga
I'm having a really hard time being away from my hun after spending 2 months together, we're planning to live together in just 6 short weeks, but I'm just not coping right now, going through the whole "I don't trust you" "don't have any fun since I'm not there" etc motions. I go through 100 emotions a day ranging from super happy to mega low... my life is on hold until I move over to him, but in the meantime he has school and such to "kill" time with...... How can I overcome this rollercoaster of emotions and moods?
SassyKitten
I can definitely sympathize with you on that one, and to be honest I'm still working it out myself. I'm working full-time on my degree while my man often has to work overtime. In addition, he lives in Hawaii which is full of exciting things to do while I live in Georgia which is extremely boring. On that note should our relationship progress the way I think it will then me moving will definitely NOT be an issue!! Distracting oneself is a good coping mechanism, but then at the same time there's a fine balance between that and maintaining the connection. So I will be watching this thread closely, as I need a lot of the same advice myself.
Enchanted Girl
Is there really nothing you enjoy about living where you do? Because in six weeks, you won't get to experience anything about the place you live in anymore. Spend these six weeks enjoying everything about it while you have the time left and enjoying all the people you will be leaving. Because six weeks isn't a very long time and it will fly by before you know it. The time you have to wait is far less than the time you will spend with him in the future. aerogurl87
Great advice from Enchanted Girl. I mean OP it can't be that horrible where you live. Why don't you start planning goodbye get togethers with your friends and family? Have a girls night out or something, anything to get your mind off not being there. Soak up where you live now because in 6 short weeks you won't be there anymore.
