xomissraddox
What experience with a ghost did you have? my ex lives in an old house built during the civil war era. and we had some creepy experiences there. things like cold spots, apperations, we heard the steps creak as if some one were walking up and down them, and a indent in the couch as if someone was sitting there. xomissraddox
Wow, freckin creepy. yeah we slept with a bible and rosary beads next to the bed after that. the relationship dident last long after that either. that was before i knew about residual hauntings.. which is what i think that was. there are also demonic hauntings (extremely scary, and dangerous) i have also experienced at a castle in Roscoe, NY (you can google it and see the castle and many stories about it). my friends and i used to go to cemeteries and other places (which were abandoned) to explore and find ghosts. in the castle my friend though it to be funny to play a trick on us and throw fake blood all over one of the towers to try to scare us. the activity was so high, and it wasent happy. we experienced things like sounds of furniture moving(there were no furniture except for kitchen equipment too heavy for anyone to pick up) dogs barking viscously, footsteps running around us in the grass in the courtyard, appertains, extreme cold spots, the whole thing. we ran out of there shook. and lastly, inteligent hauntings, which are much like the one in the movie The Sixth Sense. these are very rare, and happen when a spirit hadent crossed over either bc of unfinished business, or death was so quick that the spirit doesnt know it is dead and were going about life as if it were living. poltergeists are also considered as an intelligent haunting. 2sure
In my new house, my 14 year old daughter sprinkled salt in every corner of every room telling me it was to ward off evil spirits. I told her it was nonsense...too many summer flicks, but she was insistant. So...what I did was everytime (once a week) the floors were done...she HAD to resprinkle the salt. It became nonsense to her after 2 weeks.
xomissraddox
I am also worried about the Ouija board. my 12 year old brother made one out of construction paper and dident make it right. he left out the most important piece, the "Goodbye" that closes the circle. i burned it and buried it in the woods about a mile from the house. and did a lot of research on it this may help : " Demonic presences tend to be ‘unleashed' in order for them to manifest. This is one reason why the use of a Ouija Board is customarily discouraged among many ghost hunters. As Carl Johnson of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) put it, "...while some of these devices may at first appear to be utterly harmless and regarded as tools to aid in tapping into one's subconsciousness, the results can be likened to leaving open one's back door in a country setting. Now, you may only have some little squirrels and chipmunks wander into your kitchen, but odds are that eventually you'll find yourself facing down a bear, maybe a small cub, IF YOU'RE LUCKY. And keep in mind, where there's one "bear," others are lurking somewhere close by! "http://hubpages.com/hub/3_Types_of_Ghost_Hauntings take that ouija board seriously. sit her down and talk to her about how dangerous it really is. i did that with my brother and had my parents there also to show him i wasent playing games and how serious it is.
