He is in constant worry about being cheated on by his wife..he doesn't trust and it eats at him all day until he needs to create yet another thread about how woman cannot be trusted or something. Why is this?..bad experience in his life that you or I have no idea about.

 

Yeah...no way his marriage was worse than mine. I don't hate all men b/c of it, I hate ONE man. No, I'm not over it either. I'll never be over it.

 

I am, however, intellectual enough not to generalize my experience to all men everywhere. I have several functioning brain cells that I use to their full capacity on the matter. I too have some wild raging issues but I don't feed my monster.

People with SUVs and sports cars bum me out. So, I’m not saying I don’t judge people by their cars because, to an extent, I do. I like people who view cars like me – largely a waste of money and unhealthy debt, so they must be driven literally into the ground. Buying used is actually something I really appreciate. Buying cars with a high MPG is something I appreciate.

 

The only expensive car I could say I’d really appreciate is a Hybrid of some sort. I wish I could afford a hybrid, but my car back home is just my simple Nissan Versa. It’s pretty much paid off, and it only has 30K miles, and I will drive it until it stops working or we stop using fuel that works in it. (I hope the latter comes first!)

There is a huge difference between what women say and what women do so the last person a man should ask for advice on women is women.

This cracks me up. There is very little difference between what I say and what I do. The issue is if a fellow takes what one gal says and try to apply it to another gal. When I give relationship advice to my friends, I usually try to take into consideration their audience -- it's some basic common sense to try to put yourself in the other person's POV.

I am 100% certain that some women are attracted by money. What you need to ask yourself is WHY would a guy want to attract those girls? Generally, it's because he's attracted by shallow things, too, or he doesn't want to do the work to make himself interesting and fantastic, as a whole person, so he just buys things. That'll work, as compensation, to attract other shallow, spiritually-lazy people.*

*No judgments against those who are just fascinated by cars as a hobby. I do know a fellow that has 6 cars (his wife, my friend, has a trust fund that's allowed him to buy more), including some high-end sports cars, and he's re-built them all and put them together like Dr. Frankenstein. I find that somewhat interesting when he talks about it because his passion for it is based on something real (he likes how things work) and not superficial. I still implore him to not drive the gas-guzzling sports cars around town too much.

 

Really, we attract what WE value and project. Of course, if you let yourself be branded a “loser” when you made a lot of money and rejected that label, you did better. Plenty of people aren’t rich and don’t see themselves as losers.

 

It is very hard to find a good woman plus they change. When a woman marries a man she knows what she is getting but when a man marries a woman she might be an entirely new woman down the road.

All people change. The only thing certain in life is change.
