sam light Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 (edited) Single, but all my adult life I've had a king or queen size bed. Although a couple can have a romp in a twin, I just feel that it's much less inviting and even immature to the women I meet than a queen size bed. Looking a few years down the road, I can bank on the fact that my sex drive will continue to decline, it is natures way. I hear stories about the 70 yr old who still gets laid, maybe it's true. Nobody tells the stories about all the 68 year old guys who gave up on sex years ago. I'm still functional and am even getting action from 2 women at the moment. But I know the hormones are leaving my body, I'm not the sex crazed man I was 10 years ago. Nature will continue on in this direction, a direction that changes for no one. Life without sex is hard to explain to younger people, it happens to all and they continue to live on, you see plenty of friendly old guys who lost their drive, they're ok without sex. Back to my mattress size. I've been very happy to downsize my home. It's cheaper to heat/cool, the taxes and insurance are lower, It's faster to clean, cheaper to furnish, and it forces you not to hoard junk you don't REALLY need. I will downsize again to even smaller digs when I retire. Habit and long odds of scoring tell me to get a queen bed, but everything else tells me to go with a twin. Whats your opinion? jsa100100 Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I say keep the queen until your sex drive completely goes away.
