He lives 4 hrs away which isn't bad since I have weekends off and am willing to travel. I really like him- very nice, laid back, doesn't drink or smoke... good guy. He's been a cop for 7 years, so I think he is the way he's going to be. (People say they always change for the worst when they start....) Anyway- He has a 2nd job so he basically works 7 days a week. Occasionally he gets 4 hr shifts. The only time we get to see each other is when I drive down the night before, and just have to keep myself occupied while he works. (Or we meet halfway) I like him a lot and want to try to make something work. I know dating cops is complicated to begin with- but once you add the distance I am afraid I'm on a dead end road.
