confusdboy1677
Hi i am a 17 year old highschool junior and i just recently asked a very shy girl out which leaves me in a difficult position. I am shy as well and right now i am having a hard time talking to this girl even though she said yes. This has always been a problem with me i just dont have the smoothness that other guys have. I know for a fact that i am definetly not a bad looking guy but i at times would gladly give up the looks just to ge rid of my anxiety around girls i llike. Anyways i would appreciate if someone would give me some advice on how to talk to this girl, thank you!
Darkangelism
Well she said yes, and if she is shy too, she will understand. What I do, is i think of somethings to ask in advance and ask them, then go from there, makes it a lot easier.

mintjulep
What's with the shouting, Invader_Elemdee? confusdboy, I would agree that if she is shy, she will understand the trouble you have, but it might also get awkward if you absolutely can't make some effort to talk to her. Next time you're with her, tell her something that happened to you that day. I'm sure that things happen in your classes that you can talk to her about. Maybe a teacher that you both know? Are you in any extra-curricular activities? Talk about what you do outside of school and ask her what she does with her free time. Once you find something in common, the conversation should pick up, and eventually you'll be more comfortable with each other and the conversation should come naturally. Good luck
