Are you active, if you sit around all day, you will feel lazy and tired the next day...even though that makes no sense.

S.A.D. Seasonal A....... Disorder (Can't remember what the A stands for.) Or a case of the Winter Blues. I suffer from this. Sleep till 10 or 11 am (that's early some days) if I have the day off, lay on the couch watch TV, go to work if you have to, couldn't careless if you never left the house again, come home, play on the puter or lay on the couch and watch more TV. Have no ambition to do anything physical. Feel kinda sad and mopey. Does this sound like you? Cheer up once the warmer weather hits You'll be back to normal. I'll be up at 6am and spend most of my day outside gardening and doing chores around the house. I'll be happy and full of ambition and energy. There is quite a bit of info on the web about this you may find helpful.

I took a Sleep and Dreams class in college, and you can actually sleep TOO much and it'll throw you off your "circadian rythym" which is basically your sleep cycle.

It's almost like an internal clock. If you over do it, you will feel like you didn't sleep enough, ditto if you don't get enough sleep.

What you need to do is somehow figure out how much sleep you need to be fully functional and not feel all tired. Once you do this, set your alarm to wake up at the right time and hopefully that'll work.

get your thyriod checked.

i wouldn't have thought to suggest it, except you said you were cold all the time.

this is how i felt when my thyroid was high (hypo). I was losing my hair, eyesight geting worse at 30yrs old,i could sleep 16 hours a day,.

I even increased my exercise, wushu-kung fu 2x a week till I got dizzy and practically threw up (cause i was told exercize would help fatigue and depression, by my family and my OB, -I have a new OB now),

and i lived in the "cold comma of death".

Ironically, I did not have weight gain that is usually associoated with this condition, instead i lost weight because food made me sick.

Its a simple blood test, but you have to ask your doctor for it. he can put down fatigue for the insurace to cover it.

Have it done and atleast rule it out.
