You sometimes don't realize the way you are treating someone until someone treats you the same way. Whether an evil intent is there or not, the result may be the same. But when you experience it for yourself it's a wake up call. Normally the door is shut when you go back to settle/apologize etc. Occasionally someone keeps the door open.
