You Go Girl
Guilt, denial, and new nookie, not necessarily in that order. Don't make excuses for him. Just keep your kids upbeat and try to make everyday fun. Show them that mom has a zeal for life and make sure you have activities planned. A movie with popcorn. Charades. Let's all make dinner together throwing strange things into the pot (careful here!). Who wants to dig up part of the garden? It doesn't matter what the activity is, just as long as it includes everybody, is approached with enthusiasm, and has an element of "see mom can be fun and we all can have fun without dad even being around". Show them this isn't the end of their world, and that laughter is still a priority in your home.

Me and the kids have been laughing alot and spending time together. I would like to know though what are your thoughts about me setting a boundary of only coming over when he has time to spend with the kids. Instead of coming over giving them a hug and then running back out the house. When he does this he leaves me to answer there questions and hold them while they cry about why didn't daddy stay longer.
