liveforluck
I'm a 18 yr. old male and i have a huge problem talking to girls. I dont know if its a lack of balls, but im too scared to start a conversation. What should i say/do to start a conversation with someone? Like at a club how would i start dancing with a girl? Do I just go up to her and start asking or do i start talking to her first? Someone please help me :/
USMCHokie
Don't take this the wrong way, but do you have problems talking to guys? How about the old lady who lives down the street? Or a cashier at the local WalMart? My point is that you need to be comfortable talking with those who you have no romantic interest in before you can be comfortable talking with girls you want to date. I'm totally comfortable talking to people i wouldn't have a romantic relationship with, but its outside of that is where i run into problems. And thank you very much for the input
Feelin Frisky
If there's an overpoweringly loud band or DJ at a club, it's pretty much impossible to "talk". You would have to finesse a girl with your manner, smile, eye contact and perhaps make gestures that convey "wanna have a go on the dance floor?" If she isn't a self-centered or dismissive c__t, she will either take you up or decline politely. Don't take the refusal personally. It means nothing in the grand scheme of things. In other settings you might say something coy to a chick, say at a market for instance. I have said as plainly obvious that I'm making a pass such impish things as "nice day for fruits and vegetables" and give her an impish sort of gleam. Roll with the results, it's all in the confidence you project. Butterflies and blushing are a tough nut to crack. But you have to learn to act and not obsess or seize on the uncertainty and exposure of the situation.
