Date story thoughts?

Went on a fourth date with "L" last night. As usually we have a wonderful time together and time just flies past - 6 hours seems like 2 or 3. Toward the end of the date she started getting and sending texts which kind of annoyed me. So the restaurant we we're at was closing and I told her "I always hate when our dates end, I know they're not but they seem so short" to which she replied I could come back to her place (for 1st time).

 

She rejected coming to my place and letting me cook for her when I tried to arrange this date #4 saying she wasn't ready. Weird but I figured she changed her mind. So back at her place she gives me the tour, introduces me to her critters, and then says an old friend she hasn't seen in a long time is going to drop by - the person she was texting with during dinner.

 

Its a guy of course... I'm much more attractive than him so I didn't feel very threatened in that sense. What bothered me was I was practically ignored for an hour after he showed up. The only attention I got from "L" was - "You want another beer"? when I was out.

 

So after an hour of that I got pretty irritated, stood up and told her "I'm going home L. Bye". She got up with me and followed me to the door but I just shut it behind me.

 

 

I don't think I'll be asking her out again. I'm mainly just curious of you all's opinion on what in the world she was thinking.. I mean - If I had brought her to my place, invited me platonic friend "S" over and laughed and hung on every word she said completely ignoring "L" - doesn't she think she would be pis**d?
