I'm in love..should I tell him

I'm in love with a guy I've known for 4 years.

We started off as friends with benefits, at the time he said he's not ready for a relationship. I tried to move on by cutting contact for a year and half. During that time period he dated a girl, and I was involved with another guy.

Three months ago we established contact , I have relocated to a new country but I am travelling in 9 days back home and we have agreed to meet.

So far we are just friends, but the last time I saw him before I travelled he was very touchy feely... for example he lay his head on my lap, he kept on touching my lip with his fingers , we hugged a few times , talked a bit.

Is there a chance he may know how I feel ? Considering the fact that I will be abroad for a year studying my MSc degree, meaning I'll be really busy..is there a point in expressing how I feel ? Should I just move on ? If I express how I feel could that be detrimental to our current friendship?

Is there a chance he feels the same way.

Thank you for your replies.

if you do think I should express my feelings what is the easiest way to do it ? Is there a way to do it without freaking the other person out ?

maybe he just misses the "benefits"

There is enough information here, but hmm I'm not a fan of LDR. How about you ask him to define your current relationship, if you don't get a meaning out of his response you probably will from his body language, no wishful thinking!

I think you should tell him. Regardless of the outcome, you'll feel better for getting that off of your chest.

The key is to not fantasize about the best outcome. Don't build it up in your head before you tell him.

Thank you guys for your responses.

Any tips on the best way to go about this without being confrontational ?

Should I wait till he makes a physical advance.....then it might not be abrupt or out of place ?

I wouldn't suggest waiting until a physical advance is made on the grounds that he may tell you what you want to hear just to complete the task ahead. Get it out and in the open to start with so that you know in yourself that the deed is done so to speak.

I thing that you have to tell him if he love you he accept your love the thing is you at-least fill that you had tell your love that you are in love with him it is his wish to accept or not if he told no then you also came to know about his feeling and you can go further.
