I have a lot male friends as I get on better with guys anyway, I have this guy friend who I've known a few months we get on like a house on fire and last night he came out with it he's interested in me and wants me BUT told me he's seeing someone and wanting to give it a go with her and my head ended being messed up an said stuff to him like why tell me the min your seeing someone an not weeks ago hes like it was by accident I told you and shouldn't have he went, he wasn't interested in me before till he got to know me better an said I made him laugh and that's what he's looking for, and I like him didn't expect him to say he wants me there's a difference between want someone and being interested.

Why is he giving it a go with her if he told me all this my head is messed up now and I said stuff I shouldn't have to him like your like the rest of the idiots and parted off bad terms now I don't know what to do . And I feel like I'm a threat when my guy mates meet someone they end the friendship whats that all about?

He probably likes you because you run your sentences together. You don't use periods at the end of sentences so people have a very difficult time reading and understanding what you write. Just ask him!

He's more or less prepping you to be the OW on the side or he's going to break up with this girl he's seeing and be with you. Either way, he's handled this poorly. And you reacted, saying stuff you shouldn't have said and now things are weird. Is the friendship over or you do plan on talking to him again?

Do you have boundries with your male friends? Is it possible you're giving off a certain energy and they are reacting to it? Or is it the men you've chosen seem to hit on you, even if it's just friendship.. You don't have answer here, it's something for you to think about.

Many times I have asked this question and gotten overwhelming the same response. Although women can often friendzone a man, men most often do not want to just be friends with a woman. Sexual attraction gets in the way. So, I think you may have different ideas about your relationships than your male "friends".

Whichwayisup - I havent spoken to him since last night still getting my head around it and don't think it's good idea to speak to him an ill say more stuff to him an cause more arguements i'll wait till my head is clearer, he told me he always wants what he can't have i've asked my male mates if I do anything that I don't know of and there saying no it's cause i'm normal and not fake thats why they end up liking me but it's always the min they get someone they don't say anything otherwise I wish he told me weeks ago he is good looking and wouldve said yes to him but no he had to tell me by "accident" he wants me the min hes seeing someone.

It's starting to seem he's liked me for ages I wont know now if anything happens with me an him, maybe he is trying to get my attention by doing that to see what i'd do I dunno it's just so confusing i'm going to speak to him when my heads clearer he took me off Facebook after he told me he's started seeing her what's he doing :(. It's not like i'm a threat to her.

I know how hard that is! It really does change everything because you instantly feel awkward around them no matter how much you try to forget about it. Give it time and it will get better. Tell him you just want to be friends or have nothing to do with him. The choice is yours.

We always like you all along, otherwise we wouldn't be friends. That like can overcome sexual attractiveness. Meaning if we didn't know you we wouldn't pay any attention to you walking down the street. Sometimes we let slip that we are willing to see if you also are. Most of the time we accept that you will just be a fantasy.

An update of this well I didn't speak to him an left it for a good few days and I thought i'd send him an email and to my surprize he emailed back, and thought I wasn't speaking to him he wants to still be "good mates" cause he said i'm a laugh an make him giggle I emailed him back and went is being "mates" a good thing if we like each other since he's seeing someone now so i'm just waiting on a reply back thought i'd keep this updated.

OP, short, non-'deep' answer is he's a Hoover, perhaps an unwitting one, but unhealthy for you nonetheless. Words are just carbon dioxide, like my posts here are just electrons. Look at the *real*; his actions. Good luck :)
