laRubiaBonita
i currently take cosamin ds for joint health. i will run out soon and wonder if there is something better? i also take a multi, inositol, choline, stress b, primrose oil, and calcium. the joint thing is preventative- my knees do get sore now (i am not 32 yet); and the roll out of joint if i sit wrong. i can also pop my hips and elbows out of joint- i do not do it much anymore at all, but when i was younger... it was fun! so- any thoughts? thanks! Oh, heheh, didn't see that...that's what I've always used and what everyone else I know uses for joint health...not sure about whether fish oil would do the same thing... tman666
I've heard that tumeric supplements (circumin) have anti-inflammatory properties, though I haven't taken them myself. As someone who has also experienced knee inflammation and pain, I can tell you that the best thing is figuring out and correcting any muscle weakness/imbalances you have (hint: it might not be around the joint itself. Part of my problem was some hip flexor weaknesses/improper glute activation), staying limber, and keeping everything as strong as possible. If you have loose joints, strength training will be especially beneficial, in my experience.
