We finally mailed our wedding invitations this morning... a bit late considering our date is 10/10/10 but we sent Save the Dates so we know a lot of people have already made their travel plans. I spent an hour at the post office carefully affixing 61 cent wedding cake stamps, then hand canceling the invitations with the post office's official stamp. It's finally starting to get fun (as opposed to just being a constant onslaught of annoying "to do's"): our wedding bands are being inscribed this week, my bridal shower is tomorrow, my mom flew in to town yesterday (from 2000 miles away) as a surprise to attend the shower, fiance is off on his whitewater rafting bachelor weekend, and the wedding itself is in 29 days!
