Would you go skydiving with a parachute that only has a 50 percent chance of opening? How about flying in a plane that is 75 percent guaranteed to crash. Math check-- If 50% of marriages end in divorce, and 75% of divorces are initiated by women, that does not mean that 75% of women initiate divorce. The opinions on this subject are quite varied. OP, as someone else said already, if marriage is important to you, then you deserve to have that.
