When I'm down at rock bottom I always fall into music to speak the words for me' that I just don't know how to voice. Today I found a different tune that touched me' though and it made my heart feel just a little less heavy. I thought I'd share the lyrics with you. I know there's many in my same place and could benefit from them too.

I was thinking about music to heal at the weekend... I listened to Lenny Kravitz's Heaven Help when I was a teen and my first love dumped me. Boo hoo!! This weekend we went to his wedding, he's a wonderful man, part of my extended 'family' as we are linked in several ways. As I watched him with his beautiful wife and their gorgeous infant son, I laughed to remember the hours I spent laying in the dark, immersed in music.

 

I turn to music still when I feel low or lost. It can do something nothing else can - not even wine or chocolate!!!!!
