Why did she express jealousy even though she didn't want me as more than a friend?

I have this friend named Brittany who is apparently jealous of me and my girlfriend Brianna (we've been together for six months now). Brittany and I were good friends at one point, but that wore off after a while. Now, Brittany and her boyfriend recently broke up, but when they were still together, she expressed jealousy. Now, Brittany made it perfectly clear that she just wanted to be friends with me. She wanted nothing more than to be friends, even though she may have said some things to suggest more at one point. Nonetheless, we talked about it and I moved on. Anyway, the last time I told Brittany that I was happy with Brianna and told her that I have a g/f now, Brittany said, "Oh, like the relationship will last long anyway." Also, she was talking to my friend and she was like, "How is Johnny and his fat g/f? Oh, just kidding" Now, my g/f is on the heavier side, but that has nothing to do with this.

I remember the first time Brittany and I met and how excited and nervous she was. She said that I was an amazing guy, but she had a boyfriend and told me that she never wanted more than to be friends with me.

We even went to the movies once (while she was still with her boyfriend) and we were cuddling and she was rubbing my hand and I was holding her and rubbing her stomach and back. However, at the movies, she didn't want to kiss me when I made a move. She just shook her head and said that we couldn't kiss because we just met. When I got home, I was heated and couldn't understand these mixed signals so I flipped out. She said she wanted to be more than friends but not anymore because I am psycho and that I live too close to her, so she would find out that I'm cheating if we ever did get together (yes, bull****, I know).

She obviously doesn't want me, yet had no problem cuddling and us touching each other at the movies.

With that said, even though she does not want to be more than friends with me and had a boyfriend at one point who she adored, why is she still jealous of me and my girlfriend? Attention?

I'd stay away from her. She sounds very possessive, even though you guys aren't dating. It seems as if she likes you only as a friend, but doesn't want you to be with anybody else.

That's not really normal, to be honest. So stay away, enjoy spending time with your girlfriend and forget about Brittany. Good luck!

OP, what you're experiencing is merely immature use of sexual power. Women possess this power and time and maturing generally teach them healthy ways of wielding it. I'll assume you're both young. Think nothing of it. Attach no significance to her behaviors whatsoever. You have a girlfriend and her name is Brianna. Focus on what you have. It's a good life lesson. Welcome to LS :)

She is merely learning how to separate feelings she is having between love and friendship...She feels safe around you, so she opens up by cuddling or holding your hand...However, romantic feelings she has toward you are not strong enough for her to consider you a boyfriend..... So her jealousy in a sense could be a way of her protecting you from getting hurt... Maybe her feelings are more than that toward you, but doesn't want to commit to you...Be yourself, and act like a friend to her cause you never know, but her jealousy should never control what you do as an individual....

Not the love ace

Man, lay off her please. She just will make things more unnecessarily dramatic and stressful. Leave her and let her crawl to you and you call the shots, don't let her be possessive and play with your heart. Focus on your girl and what you got and let her chase you.
