Tiberius
Hi can a woman get really really muscular without steroids? If she is huge (muscle huge) does that mean she is taking steroids?
TaraMaiden
Maybe not - but there are loads of protein drinks, supplements and other dietary stuff she could be using..... You find a woman with a body like a male bodybuilder, a turn-on? I personally think they look absolutely hideous....
tman666
Both of the "women" that TaraMaiden posted photos of are most definitely taking heaps and heaps of testosterone. Women simply cannot look like that without a lot of hormonal supplementation. Protein supplementation doesn't make people look like this. Jamie Eason would be an example of a woman who is probably near the top of possible female muscularity without (or with minimal) hormone supplementation. OP: are you wondering this in regards to a specific person that you know, or all women in general. By the way, female hormonal supplementation at low doses can still yield very feminine looking results (like a figure competitor). The girls that female bodybuilding is usually associated with take a ton of drugs.

I know of a girl who is really muscular and I was just curious if she takes roids and what it means if she does. She has really big muscles and abs, but does not look so dry like the women in the pics. They look kind of artificial. She looks more like this http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_9vHBjgViiTQ/SpwvZ39aHkI/AAAAAAAAEq0/nQ74pkgiL-s/s400/Heather-Darling-2.jpg http://xa.yimg.com/kq/groups/4705109/homepage/name/homepage.jpg?type=sn thats not her by the way. TaraMaiden
No, she's just not pumped up, like the girls in my photos. But if she were to enter a competition, she would do an hour's weight training, and pump iron, to get the muscles really prominent. Oh, and apply fake mahogany tan, and baby oil, in order to glisten. And wear the tiniest bikini possible.... Some bodybuilding women have silicone breast implants, because all that training eliminates all the curves... so they replace their honed, manly breasts with fake ones....just so's you can tell the difference between them and Arnie.... Goddear me, it's utterly gross....
Enema
Tiberius: The pics you posted are like a female bodybuilder in the offseason. The ones Tara is posting, of women in competition condition take months of preparation to build up to, cutting carbs completely, lowering the daily calorie intake every week until in the final few weeks they're at <1000 cals a day. Then on the day of the competition / photo shoot they are severely dehydrated to give the muscles extra pop. They even take diuretics and laxatives. So far, the women posted in this thread have all taken a lot of drugs and are at the extreme fringes of the sport. We're talking 0.5% of female bodybuilders. They're about as attractive as the men performing at the same level. ie. there probably aren't too many women that find this attractive: clicky! You can be a female bodybuilder and be attractive: hotstuff Edited September 22, 2010 by Enema
Author Tiberius
Well she is really huge and strong, like the pics I posted, but does not look like the professional bodybuilders on stage. So she might still take something to be so big. Also she competes in martial arts. Dont atheletes get tested for stuff? Edited September 23, 2010 by Tiberius

Yes the women in these pics are on steroids you can see it in their faces not to mention women just CAN'T put on that kind of muscle mass with out extra testosterone. Leigh 87
Yikes. Why on earth would you want to give up carbs, and starve yourself just to look that AWFUL. I understand wanting to be " toned" or " firm". But to want to look overley muscular, in my opinion, is some sort of body image disorder. Yes, I think these women have some sort of mental problem if they want to take it to that extreme.

It is a disorder for men to take steroids too and look like this.

Green
I am very close with her, well she is my girlfriend, so I wondered. Ur gf is on steroids if she looks even close to that pic you put up. If you find that sexy enjoy if not then just break up with her. If you are worried just confront her but don't expect to be able to change her, you might just have to walk away if you don't like that she is on steriods not ur job to SAVE or FIX her. Author Tiberius
I found containers at hers today, which read Creatin and L-Glutamin. Well I saw them. I wasnt snooping or anything. They contain some powder. What does it do?

They contain some powder. What does it do? Creatine and L-Glutamine are used by people who bodybuild to help put on and retain muscle. They are not hormone products. They are safe and naturally occurring in regular ol' food. You can get them at freaking Walgreens. I repeat, those supplements are not steroids. Dude, you really need to find another girl... It sounds like you are extremely insecure about her lifestyle. Go find a nice girl in your yoga class or whatever.
Author Tiberius
I dont dislike it at all, I was just concerned my baby machine might break down .
tman666
I dont dislike it at all, I was just concerned my baby machine might break down . Ahhh gotcha. Legit concern then. You might just want to flat out ask her. If she isn't willing to take the time to explain her views on the subject with you, then, in my view, that's a bad sign.

Just because she doesn't have a beard and a deep baritone voice doesn't mean she's not juicin'. If a woman looks like the pictures that Tiberius posted, there's about a 99.9 percent chance that she's "enhanced". Edited October 4, 2010 by tman666

Some friends from high school were/are body builders, but I know very little about body building in general and/or steroids. I just assumed the deep voice and excessive hair would be a tell tale sign.

(probably not on steroids.
Author Tiberius
What does it mean if she takes steroids. I read that like her period can stop. But that did not happen yet, probably because she does not go with her bodfat lower than in the pics. Can something else happen?
tman666
Is she really as massive as the women in the photos you posted? Women can still build plenty of muscle naturally, but the size of the women in the photos you posted are likely taking steroids. Before you freak out, maybe you should just ask her... tman666
Well, in my opinion, there is a real good chance that she uses some sort of hormone enhancement. You need to have a conversation with her about how you feel and ask her questions about her usage. As far as side effects, that can depend on what she's taking ("steroids" is a blanket term for many different chemicals, all of which have different purposes and side effects), how much she's taking, and what she's using in addition to. Who knows though, maybe she's completely natural. I'd be surprised, but stranger things have happened...
