Unsure to the core

There is a girl who I've known for about a year now. We met at work where we quickly developed a bond. I knew after a couple of conversations that she would be someone I'd be interested in dating. Eventually, I moved on to a new job and we became facebook friends progressing into sending each other messages here and there. It quickly became apparent that we had a lot of in common, personality wise, interests, you name it, we were similar.

Eventually I mustered up some courage and asked her if she wanted to go see a local band we both liked. She agreed. We had a blast!!!

Now, we frequently communicate on facebook and send each other text messages. All the conversations we have are engaging. Sometimes I would visit the old job to see some friends, once she sees me, she gets all excited and red in the face. I could make a rather obvious unfunny joke that she laughs hysterically at.

Here's the thing I have left out...

She has a boyfriend. :(

I always she knew had a boyfriend, but she hardly talks about him at all. Although she has a boyfriend, she sure doesn't act that way around me. She always mentions that she wants to hang out and do things. For example, an artist we like was having an exhibit last night. I was tempted to ask her to go, but i didnt. I dont want to be one of those guys who take out other another dude's girl. I already felt a little guilty after the concert.

So should I just continue to be in the distance and not feel the urge and ask her to hang out? I really enjoy her company and I know she enjoys mine. And I do realize she just may see me as a good guy friend.

Tks

Sounds as though this girl likes you more than just friends, but she has a bf and has chosen to be with him... regardless of your feelings, this girl is currently unavailable... don't invest in her emotionally. Look for other women, if and when she breaks up with her current bf make a move
