isitreal
I've never been in an LTR. Every girl I talk to says I act too "cool" or "chill." or look like I'm a player, etc. At first I took it as a compliment. This has been good for getting in relationships that are just for fun, but I feel like I would like to look for something more long term. The sad thing is I know you can't look for these, and I am kind of angry that women have stereotyped me into this non-committal guy. I work hard to improve myself in all aspects of life and I don't consider myself a slacker...can some people, esp. women, give me an opinion of how I can come off as more relationship friendly? Seriously, I've never done anything "player" to any girl I've been involved with, I don't know where it comes from...do I need to start wearing argyle sweaters, get a 70s comb over going and start talking like a father figure or something?! Ridiculous!
cecilia0524
I think the most important thing to this situation is that you have to feel comfortable with yourself. However, pay attention to what girls like, especially the one you are interested. Shape yourself to what she likes but still maintain your own character. You don't want to come off too different all a sudden and others will start thinking you are just trying to get girls' attention, etc.
Awesome Username
I know someone who gets this too: He's VERY attractive, and girls are intimidated and/or try too hard. The fact that he's a beer pong genius doesn't help either. I'd just casually bring it up in conversation. Be like, "I like girls I can being home to mom...you know?" They'll get the message. Good luck! You sound like a sweety! Please make more of yourself!
Disillusioned
So... what is a LTR type of person supposed to look like? Can you use a police Identi-Kit to show us?
crfsti
First thing I would try would be to start driving a minivan, the girls will get your drift.
