robindell10
The family is a place where you can be yourself. place is where you accept what you have. That is, if you are totally devoid of tension, and everyone is ready to help. The foster family, when surrounded by problems. It will help you cope in difficult times and bring joy and happiness in life. Decency is very important for communication in everyday life. It helps us to establish solid relationships with others and make us appear very sweet, smart and friendly. Everyone loves the company of that person. worlybear
Sounds fantastic but sadly it doesn't reflect ANY family I know! The reality of the family in my experience as both mother and teacher, is that the family seethes with tensions and conflicting loyalties alongside the love that tries to hold it together. The larger the family, the more difficult it is to satisfy everybody. IME there is always a family member who feels slighted and overlooked and it often falls to one member to try and perform some kind of juggling act to keep everyone happy! I personally think that storybook families as you have described are just that-stories. But I do think that children in particular benefit from being part of a stable relationship with one (or preferably two) parents.
Citizen Erased
My family is my fiance. The one I was born into I can't be myself around, they are a constant source of tension in my life and they rarely make me happy. I'll build my family to be close to what you describe. The one I currently have will never be that way. I'm just glad I know what to NOT be like.
